BBS Engineer, Post-Tension Engineer

HIRING | ENGINEERING POSITIONS Company: China Railway 18th Bureau Group (CRCC 18) Location: Medina, Saudi Arabia Project: Superblock Five – High-Rise Towers & 5-Star Hospitality We are looking for experienced professionals to join our high-rise construction and luxury hospitality project. 1. BBS Engineer (Bar Bending Schedule) Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for reinforced concrete structures. Calculate reinforcement quantities, cutting lengths, and bending details. Review structural drawings, reinforcement layouts, and shop drawings. Coordinate with structural engineers, site teams, and quantity surveyors. Ensure accuracy of rebar quantities and compliance with approved drawings. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in BBS preparation and reinforcement detailing. High-rise tower and 5-star hotel project experience preferred. Strong knowledge of structural drawings, rebar detailing, and quantity calculations. 2. Post-Tension Engineer Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate post-tensioning works for high-rise concrete structures. Review PT shop drawings, tendon layouts, stressing sequences, and technical submissions. Coordinate with consultants, structural engineers, specialist subcontractors, and site teams. Monitor tendon installation, stressing, grouting, and quality inspections. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Strong experience in post-tensioning systems for high-rise buildings. Knowledge of PT design drawings, stressing calculations, and site execution. Previous experience in high-rise towers and 5-star hotel projects is highly preferred.
