The Irrigation Foramen role at Amrak Facility Management Company is a full-time, on-site position based in Umluj. The role is responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure consistent water distribution and optimal plant health across assigned properties. Daily tasks include inspecting pipelines and irrigation points, checking for leaks or blockages, adjusting water flow and timing, and performing routine cleaning and minor repairs of relevant equipment. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, reporting issues to supervisors, and coordinating with other facility staff to align irrigation schedules with overall property upkeep. The individual in this position is expected to follow safety procedures, adhere to environmental guidelines, and support the smooth operation of all irrigation-related infrastructure.
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of irrigation systems, water distribution methods, and basic hydraulics, with the ability to troubleshoot common system issues.
- ✓Experience in routine maintenance, inspection, and minor repairs of pipelines, valves, and related mechanical components.
- ✓Ability to read simple technical diagrams or instructions and keep clear records of inspections, repairs, and daily activities.
- ✓Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to plan and complete daily irrigation tasks efficiently.
- ✓Awareness of safety practices and environmental guidelines related to water usage and facility operations.
- ✓Capability to perform physical tasks such as walking long distances, bending, lifting moderate loads, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
- ✓Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and other facility staff.
- ✓Previous experience in irrigation, landscaping, or facility maintenance is preferred; vocational training or a relevant technical certification is an advantag
