WE ARE HIRING | LIFTING ENGINEER Company: China Railway 18th Bureau Group (CR18G) Location: Medina, Saudi Arabia Project: Superblock Five – High-Rise Towers & 5-Star Hospitality We are seeking an experienced Lifting Engineer to oversee lifting operations, crane planning, and heavy lifting activities for our major high-rise construction project in Medina. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments for routine and critical lifting operations. Plan lifting activities involving mobile cranes, tower cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. Calculate lifting loads, crane capacity, load radius, boom configuration, and ground-bearing requirements. Verify load weights, lifting points, rigging arrangements, and equipment suitability. Coordinate with Lifting Supervisors, Appointed Persons, Rigging Teams, HSE, and Construction teams. Ensure cranes, lifting accessories, and equipment have valid inspection certificates and records. Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved plans, site procedures, and safety requirements. Identify lifting hazards and implement appropriate control measures. Support toolbox talks, lifting briefings, site inspections, and incident investigations when required.
