Product Quality - Engineer

Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for renewable energy projects. Ensure the quality of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, cables, switchgear, BESS equipment, and other project materials. Review technical specifications, drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and method statements. Conduct incoming material inspections, supplier quality assessments, factory inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality-related issues. Monitor manufacturing processes and verify compliance with approved specifications, applicable codes, and standards. Identify, document, and resolve non-conformities (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and perform root cause analysis. Conduct supplier audits, quality inspections, and product performance assessments. Verify material test certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable IEC, ASTM, and other relevant industry standards. Monitor product defects, failure trends, reliability issues, and supplier performance, and recommend improvement measures. Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and project quality documentation. Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities by ensuring that quality requirements are fulfilled. Promote continuous improvement, risk prevention, and quality awareness across project teams.
